THE PROBLEM

 The Cerbone’s had no idea where to start and how they were going to manage to move across the country while caring for elderly parents in another state. Leona went ahead to the east coast to begin caring for her parents while Mike stayed in their west coast home to wrap up the loose ends. What a challenge for Mike - he needed to prepare their home to be listed, pack up the entire house, and figure out where to stay after everything was sent off!

 THE STRATEGY


Thankfully we’ve helped many of our clients sell their home without them ever having to be at the property, so we came in with our proven gameplan to help get Mike back to Leona as quick as possible.

We worked with Mike to provide a plan and a checklist so that he could focus on each item, one by one. 

Because their home was in good shape, and only in need of a little TLC to show its best, they were able to keep the investment low. The goal was to put as little money into the home as possible, and sell for a fair price. The focus was selling FAST and with very little stress so they could focus on their main priority, taking care of family. 

While Mike and Leona were 3,000 miles away our team helped to arrange handymen and vendors for a few needed fixes and we scheduled inspections so that they didn’t have any surprises during escrow.

THE WIN

Mike was able to pull away from the home to join Leona within the timeframe he had hoped for. Right before we went to market, we met with the Cerbone’s and agreed that it was in their best interest to increase the price another $15,000. 

Mike and Leona closed on the sale of their home and earned $20k over their list price which was $35k over their original budgeted sale price. They were on the other side of the country from the day the home went on the market, to the day the home closed escrow with zero negotiations. What a win for Mike and Leona!
