What's in store for 2024?
Looking into 2024, here's what I think we might see in our Roseville real estate market. Early in the year, there should be more people putting offers on homes. The really nice homes, especially those with extra features or updates, will probably sell quickly and might get several offers.
For most homes, getting the price right, making them look good, and keeping them in shape will be really important for selling. It's going to be key to make your home stand out with good marketing, no matter what condition it's in.
Buyers will keep looking for homes even though it might still be tough to afford them. They will be picky, though. They'll care a lot about how much a home costs and how it looks.
I think we'll see more homes for sale in the spring than we did last year. How many people are looking to buy these homes might depend on what's happening with interest rates at the time. If there are a lot more homes for sale, it could mean sellers have to compete more than they had to before.
These are just my thoughts based on what I'm seeing now. The housing market can always change, and different things can affect it as the year goes on.
